Landing Page Design Cost in 2026: 7 Guides Compared
Landing page design cost in 2026: we compared 7 price guides side by side, priced the builder tools, and modeled sample year-one budgets you can copy.

You asked three people to quote a landing page and got back $400, $2,500, and $9,000. Now you can't tell which number is normal, and almost every price guide you open is written by someone who wants to build the page for you.
So we did the tedious part. We read seven published guides on landing page design cost, put their numbers side by side, and priced the tools you'll keep paying for after launch. Here's what a landing page really costs in 2026, where the quotes split, and how to tell if yours is fair.
The short answer: landing page design cost in 2026
Across the seven guides we compared, the median range is $500 to $2,000 for a freelancer and $2,000 to $10,000 for an agency. Building it yourself with a custom domain can cost as little as $19 a year. Plan on 1 to 2 weeks with a freelancer and 2 to 4 weeks with an agency.
7 landing page price guides, side by side
On November 4, 2026, we read seven guides that rank for landing page cost searches and recorded the ranges each one gives for doing it yourself, hiring a freelancer, and hiring an agency. We left out two good guides that price in pounds, so every number below is in US dollars.

Where a guide lists extra tiers, like enterprise pages, we used its main freelancer and agency rows.
What the seven guides agree on, and where they split
1. The floor is settled, the ceiling isn't
Every guide's main freelancer range starts at $300 or $500. That's the most reliable number in the set.
The top end is a different story. Agency ceilings run from $3,000 (Project Cost Estimator) to $15,000 and up (eSEOspace), a fivefold gap. And that's just the main rows: Wavespace prices custom-coded pages up to $25,000. When a quote lands above $10,000, it isn't wrong, but it should come with research, copy, testing, or custom code you can point to.
2. Six of the seven are written by someone who sells landing pages or landing page tools
LanderLab sells a landing page builder. DesignMonks, Wavespace, Linear, CodeWCG, and eSEOspace are agencies or studios. Project Cost Estimator doesn't build pages, but it says it uses affiliate links.
That doesn't make the numbers wrong. It means you should read each agency range as that agency's view of the market. CodeWCG is upfront about it: the guide says its own builds start at $5,000, the top of the agency range it publishes.
3. Only three give you a timeline
DesignMonks, Wavespace, and Project Cost Estimator say how long each option takes, and they line up well. A template takes a few days, a custom page from a freelancer takes 1 to 2 weeks, and an agency takes 2 to 4 weeks. Project Cost Estimator adds that custom design plus conversion work takes 2 to 3 weeks.
4. "A landing page" isn't one product
The ranges are wide partly because guides price different things. Wavespace splits the build by platform: $1,000 to $6,000 on Framer, $1,500 to $8,000 on Webflow, and $5,000 to $25,000 for custom code like Next.js. It also puts SaaS pages at $3,000 to $15,000, above its general agency range.
Our take: before comparing quotes, make sure they describe the same page. A template tweak and a custom-coded SaaS launch page share a name and almost nothing else.
What pushes a landing page quote up
Five line items explain most of the difference between a $500 quote and a $5,000 one.
- Copywriting: Project Cost Estimator adds $500 to $1,500 for copy and headline testing, and eSEOspace says professional copy can add $500 to $3,000 or more.
- Conversion work: Project Cost Estimator prices conversion optimization at an extra $500 to $1,500, and an A/B test setup with two variants at $200 to $600.
- Platform and code: a custom-coded page costs far more to build than one on a visual builder, per the Wavespace ranges above.
- Design only or design and build: DesignMonks puts design alone at $500 to $5,000 or more, with development priced separately.
- Where the designer is based: in its regional breakdown, DesignMonks lists US freelancers at $500 to $3,000 per project and South Asian freelancers at $150 to $1,000.
In our experience, the cheapest quotes usually save money by skipping the copy, not the design. That's the wrong place to save. Visitors decide in seconds whether the headline speaks to them, and a pretty page with vague words still loses them.
The tools you'll pay for after launch
The build is a one-time cost. The tool that hosts the page is a bill every month or year. Here's what the most common options charged when we checked their pricing pages on November 4, 2026.
Prices change, so confirm on Unbounce's pricing page, Webflow's pricing page, and Carrd Pro before you commit. If your main site already runs on Webflow or Framer, a new page there often costs nothing extra to host.
Sample year-one budgets for a landing page
To make the ranges usable, we built four sample setups. Build costs use the median freelancer and agency ranges from the guides. Tool costs use the published prices above for twelve months.

The surprise is the third row. At the low end, a $500 freelancer page on Unbounce's testing plan spends $1,344 a year on the tool, more than twice the cost of the page.
Our take: skip paid A/B testing until the page gets enough traffic to finish a test. Project Cost Estimator says most tests take 2 to 6 weeks to run. Until then, a sharper headline and a faster page do more for less.
How we'd spend a landing page budget
If we had $2,000 for a startup landing page, we'd spend it in this order: the message first, then one strong page design, then a clean build on a tool your team can edit. Testing comes later, once ads or launches bring real traffic.
That's how we worked when we rebuilt the Juno AI SaaS website in a week: pin down the buyer's problem, write the page around it, then design and build. Launch-ready landing pages are part of our web design work for startups, and a page that converts is the goal, not the deliverable.
Keep the running costs in mind too. Our guide to website maintenance cost breaks down what each platform costs to keep up after launch.

- Is copywriting included, or do we write it?
- Is this design only, or design and build?
- Which platform will it run on, and who owns the account?
- How many rounds of revisions are included?
- Is a separate mobile design included?
- Are forms, analytics, and ad tracking set up and tested?
- What's the timeline, and when do we see the first design?
- What does a change cost after launch?

FAQ
How much does a landing page cost for a small business?
Most small businesses land between $500 and $2,000 with a freelancer, based on the median ranges across the seven guides we compared. Add a builder plan, from $19 a year on Carrd to $29 a month on Leadpages, if your main site can't host the page. Agencies typically start around $2,000.
How long does it take to design a landing page?
The three guides that give timelines agree: a few days for a template, 1 to 2 weeks for a custom page from a freelancer, and 2 to 4 weeks with an agency. Waiting on copy, feedback, or brand assets is the most common reason it takes longer.
Is it cheaper to build a landing page yourself?
In cash, yes. Carrd Pro Standard costs $19 a year and Framer Basic costs $10 a month. The real cost is your time and the risk of a page that doesn't convert, so DIY makes the most sense when you're testing an idea before spending on ads.
Should a landing page live on my main website or on a separate tool?
If your site runs on Webflow, Framer, or WordPress, building the page there is usually cheaper and keeps your brand and analytics in one place. Dedicated tools like Unbounce and Leadpages make sense when a marketing team runs many campaign pages and wants built-in testing.
Why do landing page quotes vary so much?
Quotes price different scopes. One may cover a template with your copy pasted in, while another includes research, copywriting, custom design, a coded build, and testing. Ask every quoter the same questions so you're comparing the same page.
Budget your landing page design cost with confidence
The numbers are clearer than they look. Most landing pages cost between $500 and $2,000 with a freelancer and $2,000 to $10,000 with an agency, and the gap comes down to copy, conversion work, and code.
